Joe Nathan Joins Cubs, Gets Win On Sunday

The Cubs Joe Nathan on Sunday and the veteran reliever was credited with the victory in Chicago's comeback victory over the Brewers.

Nathan entered Sunday's game in the sixth inning and pitched a scoreless frame, allowing one hit and walking one while striking out three. The Cubs were trailing 4-1 when Nathan entered the game but rallied for five runs in the top of the seventh and held on to win Sunday's game, 6-5.

Shortly after Yoan Moncada hit a go-ahead, two-run home run for the World in the All-Star Futures Game, the Red Sox farmhand found out that the Hall of Fame requested his bat to put on display.

"I feel really excited and really happy that they really want my bat. But it's really emotional as well," Moncada said through a translator after the World rallied to beat the United States 11-3 on Sunday.
